Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toshi Matoshin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matoshin is pressed up against the cage. Michaels has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Matoshin down to the mat. Matoshin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jason Michaels will probably get the nod.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Michaels throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Matoshin's waist but Matoshin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Michaels off to one side.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Matoshin in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
