Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aydine Antona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Equinox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antona comes to the cage accompanied by Laid to Rest by Lamb of God. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Equinox clinches.
Antona tries to pull guard but Equinox won't allow it.

A nice right hand lands inside from Equinox.
Equinox tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Equinox fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Antona tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Equinox smiles and moves away.
Aydine Antona seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Antona tries to bum rush Equinox with a series of wild strikes but Equinox uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Equinox moves into the clinch.
Equinox doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Antona jumps into guard, dragging Equinox to the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Equinox decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Antona, up you get!

Antona wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Antona lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Equinox tries to close the distance and clinch but Antona swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Crunch! Antona slams his shin into Equinox's torso.
Equinox fails in his attempt to clinch.
Antona throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Antona throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Equinox lands a glancing blow to the side of Antona's head.
