Sackett comes to the cage accompanied by Bad To the Bone. Peter Worrell has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nolan Sackett's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nolan Sackett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Peter Worrell!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Worrell takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Worrell misses the shot to the body.
Sackett jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Worrell takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Good work by Worrell as he checks the leg kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Worrell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sackett was well out of range. Poor timing from Worrell.
Sackett avoids a kick to the body.
Worrell wants to clinch.
Sackett dips to his left and cracks Worrell with an uppercut!

Worrell throws a head kick that misses.
Worrell lands a nice looking body kick.
Worrell is looking to land body kicks.
Worrell slips under a jab from Sackett.
Worrell misses with an attempted mid kick.
Worrell fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Sackett cracks a nice hook into Worrell's ribs.
Sackett throws a lazy right hand but Worrell sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Sackett counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Worrell tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Sackett counters with a stiff right hand.
Worrell tries a head kick but it misses.
Sackett lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Worrell circles away quickly and effectively.
Worrell misses with an attempted mid kick.
Worrell moves forwards but Sackett connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Worrell throws a push kick but Sackett slaps the foot to one side.
Worrell goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Worrell misses with a jab to the body
and Worrell takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Worrell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Worrell throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Sackett counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sackett.
Sackett wants to control from the top but Worrell keeps moving.
Sackett throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Worrell works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Worrell wants to sweep here but Sackett controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sackett passes into half guard.
Worrell is looking to improve his position.
Sackett looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Sackett not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sackett throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sackett wants to lay and pray for a moment but Worrell keeps working.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sackett is trying to work for a kimura but Worrell is defending well.
Sackett drops an elbow to the side of Worrell's head.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Worrell goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sackett. Worrell does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sackett staying out of range there.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sackett darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Worrell showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Sackett.
Worrell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sackett manages to avoid it.

Worrell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Peter Worrell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Worrell fails with an attempt to clinch.
Worrell keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Worrell uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Sackett checks a low kick from Worrell.
Sackett throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Worrell counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Worrell throws a front kick aimed at Sackett's knee but Sackett avoids it well.

Sackett tries to bum rush Worrell with a series of wild strikes but Worrell uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The fight stays on the outside here - Worrell looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sackett misses with a shot to the body
and Worrell counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sackett thinking.
A jab from Sackett does it's job there.
Sackett swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice defenses there by Sackett.
Nolan Sackett is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sackett lands a right hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Worrell is looking to land body kicks.

Sackett throws a lazy uppercut
and Worrell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Worrell ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sackett throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Worrell's waist but Worrell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sackett off to one side.
Sackett thuds his right hand into Worrell's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Worrell.
Worrell lands with a kick to the ribs.
A lazy left from Sackett finds it's target.
Worrell is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Sackett rather than just go for the knockout.
Worrell throws a hook but Sackett blocks it.
Peter Worrell seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Worrell rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sackett cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Sackett works over Worrell's head and body with a nice combination.
Worrell lands with a kick to the ribs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sackett takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Donk. Worrell catches Sackett right on the button with a cross.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sackett tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Worrell is able to avoid easily.
Worrell pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Peter Worrell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Worrell throws a jab but it's blocked by Sackett.
Worrell misses with the combination.

Sackett shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Worrell pinned against the cage. Worrell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sackett will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Worrell tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Worrell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Worrell looks for the body kick but Sackett saw that one coming.
The fight stays on the outside here - Worrell looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Worrell counters with a nice body kick.
Worrell misses with a hook. Sackett ducked under it nicely.

Sackett lands with a hook. Worrell tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Worrell wants to clinch
and Sackett counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Worrell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Worrell scores with a shot to the body.
Worrell checks a low kick from Sackett.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Worrell lands a head kick!
Worrell uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sackett.

And that's the end of the fight!
Peter Worrell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Worrell has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
