Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eiji Kawashima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guilherme Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alves has chosen Guerreiro by Curumin as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Eiji Kawashima has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Eiji Kawashima seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

With a record of 13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Guilherme Alves!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Alves jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Alves checks the leg kick nicely there.
Alves throws the kick towards the body but Kawashima avoids it.
Kawashima avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kawashima connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Kawashima on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Alves shoots and misses
letting Kawashima counter with a right hand.
Alves shoots in and drives through. Kawashima sprawls well.
Kawashima swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kawashima ducks under a wild hook from Alves.
Kawashima missing with a left hand there. Alves was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Guilherme Alves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Alves rushes Kawashima and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Alves tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Alves misses with a punch to the body.
Kawashima stalling against the cage.
Alves swings wildly with an uppercut but Kawashima uses good head movement to avoid it.

Alves misses with some punches.
Alves jumps guard but Kawashima stands there with Alves around his waist. Alves gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Eiji Kawashima has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guilherme Alves.
Kawashima tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Alves's elbow.
Alves misses with a punch on the inside.
Alves is trying to pull guard but Kawashima has him pressed against the cage.
Alves has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kawashima after a bit of a struggle.
Kawashima lands a nice shot to the body.

Kawashima breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Alves misses with a hook
and Alves takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kawashima with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Donk. Kawashima catches Alves right on the button with a cross.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Alves lands a nice shot that snaps Kawashima's head back.
Kawashima throws the left hand but Alves avoids the punch easily.
Alves is looking to clinch.
Kawashima uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Alves.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Kawashima! Alves is out on his feet! Kawashima rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Alves is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Alves is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
