Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Chucky Kahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ikki Minami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kahn comes to the ring accompanied by Remember my name. Minami comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I'm Turning Japanese by The Vapors kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minami is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kahn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Minami keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A bone on bone clash there as Minami blocks the leg kick.
Kahn throws a leg kick but Minami sees it coming and moves out of range.
Minami throws a head kick but Kahn moves out of range.
Minami throws a looping overhand right but Kahn ducks down to avoid it.
Minami moves in looking to clinch but Kahn pushes him off.
Kahn misses with a low kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kahn keeps control of Minami as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Minami wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kahn has him pressed against the ropes.
Kahn has a couple of punches blocked by Minami.
Minami can't break the clinch.

Kahn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kahn punishes Minami's body with a nice straight punch.
Minami gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Kahn fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Minami throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Kahn closes the distance and clinches.
Kahn misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Minami wants to break free but Kahn has control.
Minami is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Nice body punch from Kahn.
Minami is trying to push Kahn away but Kahn has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Kahn prevents Minami from breaking the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Minami's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Kahn throws a punch but it's blocked by Minami.
Kahn tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Minami's elbow.

Minami wants to break the clinch but can't.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kahn.
Kahn struggles to land a body shot inside as Minami controls his hands.

Minami breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kahn misses the shot to the body.
Minami looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kahn jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kahn throws a head kick but Minami moves out of range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kahn. That's going to slow Minami down.
Kahn avoids the head kick by Minami.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kahn cracks the inside of Minami's front leg.
Kahn slips under a jab from Minami.
Minami throws a hook but Kahn avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

A nice combination there by Kahn.
Kahn dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Minami. That did some damage!
Minami doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Kahn. Those never looked like landing.
Kahn tests Minami's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kahn pivots, looking for a leg kick but Minami is out of range and Kahn settles back down.
Kahn misses with a double jab.
Minami lands a two punch combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Minami blocks a head kick by Kahn.

That kick from Kahn tenderised Minami's leg. Minami is trying to keep his angry face on.

Kahn throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Minami on the side of the head.
Ikki Minami is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Chucky Kahn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kahn is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Kahn lands a head kick that sends Minami down! Minami is flopping around the mat trying to get back up, leaving the referee no choice but to wave off the fight! Kahn is victorious!
