The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saballe connects with an inside leg kick.
Saballe wants to clinch.
Saballe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Saballe throws a head kick but Fuse moves out of range.

Fuse digs a right hand underneath Saballe's ribcage. Saballe let out a lung full of air as it connected.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fuse throws a head punch that misses.
Saballe is looking to control Fuse's arms but Fuse gets an underhook and turns him. Now Saballe has his back to the cage.
Fuse can't find room to land a body shot as Saballe controls the action.
Fuse lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Fuse works on Saballe's body with a couple of short punches.
Fuse throws a head punch that misses.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Fuse.

Fuse lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Fuse content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Fuse breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Saballe tries a head kick but it misses.
Fuse fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Saballe wants to clinch up but Fuse keeps it at a distance.
Fuse lands a slapping body shot.
Short Fuse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fuse blocks a head kick by Saballe.

Fuse fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Saballe has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Fuse finds it's way round the side to connect with Saballe's head.
Fuse scores with a shot to the body.

Fuse cracks Saballe with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Fuse has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Saballe to stand back up!

Saballe is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fuse closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Saballe! Fuse dives in looking to finish! Saballe is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Short Fuse!
After the fight, Short Fuse was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
