The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Tepes.
Tepes jabs McGarrity to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Tepes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tepes throws a leg kick that misses.
McGarrity throws a nice inside leg kick.
A slow jab from McGarrity misses its intended target.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Tepes checks a leg kick.
Tepes fails in his attempt to clinch.
McGarrity scores with a sloppy right hand. Tepes should have avoided that one.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tepes. McGarrity does a little dance to reset his feet.
Some wild striking there from McGarrity.
Tepes moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
An inside leg kick lands from McGarrity.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McGarrity is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
McGarrity lands a glancing blow to the side of Tepes's head.
Tepes looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

McGarrity connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Tepes momentarily.

McGarrity buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
McGarrity fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tepes takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
McGarrity is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
McGarrity connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
McGarrity throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McGarrity lands with a nice body punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tepes throws a low kick but it's checked well by McGarrity.
Tepes takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Tepes looks gassed!
McGarrity throws a nice outside leg kick.
McGarrity is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
McGarrity connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Tepes takes a jab right on the kisser.
Tepes is rocked!
McGarrity is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Tepes flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Tepes is out cold! McGarrity holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
