Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bradley Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mad Raefon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mad Raefon struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 266.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Raefon scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Raefon fails to land the takedown.
Sonnen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Raefon pinned against the cage. Raefon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bradley Sonnen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sonnen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Raefon tries to avoid it but Sonnen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Raefon to the ground. Raefon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Raefon is nestled in close to Sonnen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Raefon is looking for a kimura but Sonnen is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Raefon to get the leverage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Raefon connects with a nice short shot to Sonnen's temple.
