We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Murdock in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Murdock is breathing heavily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Murdock lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McDermot has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McDermot and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

McDermot lands a left and a right that send Murdock crashing to the mat, dazed. McDermot thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
McDermot throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Murdock crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Our winner, Pat McDermot, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
