Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andy Watcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks has chosen Cult of Personality as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks circles away from the clinch attempt.
Brooks takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Brooks fails to land the takedown.
Brooks slips under a jab.
Brooks fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Watcher misses with an uppercut. Brooks saw that one coming.
Watcher throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brooks sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Brooks takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Watcher throws a hook to the side of Brooks's head but Brooks sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Brooks defending well as Watcher loads up on a big left hand.
Watcher avoids a kick to the body.
Watcher misses with a looping left.
Brooks misses with a body shot.
Watcher throws a big shot that misses.

Watcher throws a looping overhand right but Brooks ducks down to avoid it.

Brooks shoots in but no luck this time.
Andy Watcher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Brooks.

Brooks takes the fight into the clinch.

Brooks fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Watcher, pushing him back against the cage.

Brooks jumps into guard, dragging Watcher to the mat.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Watcher throws a big right hand that misses.

Brooks has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Watcher is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Brooks.

Watcher misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Brooks bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Watcher feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Brookss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Brooks takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Watcher misses the jab.
Brooks avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Brooks moves away from the strike by Watcher.
A solid leg kick lands there for Brooks.
Nice straight punches there by Watcher. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Watcher.

Brooks clinches up with Watcher and pushes him back against the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Watcher creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Watcher creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Brooks's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Brooks drops to his knees and Watcher pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
