The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemieux digs a good hook to Dougan's body.
Lemieux throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dougan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lemieux swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Dougan looks to land a combination but Lemieux avoids it well.

Lemieux tries to clinch up but Dougan circles away and keeps his distance.
Dougan throws a right hand that Lemieux ducks under and follows up with a left that Lemieux also avoids with ease.
Dougan lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Lemieux lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Dougan tries to work over Lemieux's front leg with a kick but Lemieux checks it.

Dougan is trying to force a seperation but Lemieux has the dominant position.

Dougan tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Lemieux's elbow.

Lemieux manages to break the clinch.
Lemieux wants to clinch up but Dougan keeps it at a distance.

Dougan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Dougan throws the left hand but Lemieux avoids the punch easily.
Lemieux fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Lemieux doesn't manage to clinch there - Dougan circles away.
Dougan misses with an uppercut. Lemieux saw that one coming.
Rob Dougan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lemieux drops Dougan with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dougan looks back up at him and smiles so Lemieux waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Dougan is rocked!

Lemieux cracks Dougan with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Dougan falls to his knees and Lemieux doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
