Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Currie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Concepcion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Currie kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Helmet - Just Another Victim. Concepcion comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Descent kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Currie takes a jab right on the kisser.

Currie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Concepcion tries to avoid it but Currie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Concepcion to the ground. Concepcion escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Currie throws a hook to the side of Concepcion's head but Concepcion sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Concepcion tries to clinch but Currie is having none of it.

That was a close round but I would say that David Currie will probably get the nod.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Concepcion is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Currie tries to pull guard but Concepcion holds him up against the cage and eventually Currie drops back down to his feet.

Concepcion gets through Currie's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
