Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Zanotto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jace Mackey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zanotto feints and as Mackey raises his hands in defense, Zanotto changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Mackey looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Zanotto in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Mackey has momentary wrist control but Zanotto slips an elbow through the middle.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zanotto accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A relieved looking Ben Zanotto thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
