The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duplesris misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bertrand is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bertrand chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Duplesris can pounce on him.
Duplesris shoots in and bounces Bertrand off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Duplesris might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Duplesris cracks Bertrand with a big right hand but Bertrand just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Duplesris stands up and beckons Bertrand to his feet.

Duplesris shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Duplesris was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bertrand tries to improve his position but Duplesris has taken his back! Duplesris has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Bertrand tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Duplesris pushes Bertrand away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
