Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Liu Bei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Imum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bei comes into the arena with Hypnotic blaring out of the sound system. Imum is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Candy Paint - Ken Tuck. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imum fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bei manages to avoid it.
Imum throws a good cross that connects.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bei is defended easily by Imum.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bei.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Imum and Bei goes tumbling to the canvas! Imum follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bei tries to roll over but Imum keeps him under control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A head kick lands from Imum that sends Bei to the canvas. Bei tries to scramble back to his feet but Imum brings him back down into side control.
Oh Bei is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

It looks like Liu Bei has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Imum tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Imum creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Bei sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Bei seems to have got his legs back now.
Imum throws a strike aimed at the side of Bei's head but Bei avoids it well.

Bei has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Imum is working away from the top position though.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Imum throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Bei crashing down! Bei tries to stagger back to his feet but Imum just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Bei asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
