Nugzarov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Donowitz connects with a good right hand that stumbles Nugzarov. Nugzarov circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Nugzarov has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Donowitz.

It looks like Dmitry Nugzarov has been cut.
Donowitz tests Nugzarov's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Nugzarov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Donowitz connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Nugzarov's hands.

Nugzarov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Donowitz avoids it really well and circles away.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Donowitz lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Nugzarov throws a lazy right hand but Donowitz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Donowitz drops Nugzarov with a huge uppercut! Nugzarov drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Donowitz is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Donny Donowitz thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
