The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris leaves McCoy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Morris darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Morris is just content to waste time from the top position. McCoy takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

McCoy is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Morris to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Morris shrugs it off.

A momentary lapse in concentration from McCoy enables Morris to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. McCoy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Morris wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McCoy, who protects the arm well.

Morris thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

McCoy wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Chris Morris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

McCoy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

McCoy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
