The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

West is controlling an arm, preventing Rozemblit from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Good leg kick by Rozemblit there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

West is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rozemblit.

West throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rozemblit's waist but Rozemblit gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing West off to one side.

West takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jose Rozemblit.
