Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Dulin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martinez comes into the arena with Puya -- Sal Pa' Fuera blaring out of the sound system. Dulin has chosen Slipknot - Before I Forget as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesus Martinez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Dulin!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dulin dips to his left and cracks Martinez with an uppercut!
Dulin misses with a hook.
Martinez throws a lazy head kick
and Dulin counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Dulin has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Martinez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Martinez throws a right hand that Dulin ducks under and follows up with a left that Dulin also avoids with ease.
Dulin lands a slapping body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Martinez scores with a nice body kick.
Dulin throws an overhand right that lands on Martinez's shoulder, as Martinez tries to avoid the shot.
Sloppy strikes from Dulin. Those never looked like landing.
Dulin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dulin misses with an uppercut. Martinez saw that one coming.
Martinez throws a sloppy head kick and Dulin moves out of range easily.
Dulin jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Martinez shoots and misses
and Dulin counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Dulin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dulin connects with a crisp jab.


Martinez is rocked!
Dulin scores with a sloppy right hand. Martinez should have avoided that one.
Oh Martinez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dulin throws a right hand that misses
and Martinez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Martinez throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Martinez seems to have got his legs back now.
Martinez misses with a wild combination.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dulin, as that shot connected.
Martinez walks into a stiff left hand from Dulin.
Martinez throws a head kick but Dulin moves out of range.
Dulin lands a slapping body shot.
Dulin is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
A nice inside leg kick there by Dulin. That's going to slow Martinez down.
Martinez is breathing heavily.
Martinez looks to score with a jab to the body but Dulin is just out of range.
Martinez moves forwards but Dulin connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dulin missing with a left hand there. Martinez was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dulin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Martinez.
Dulin throws a low kick, looking for Martinez's leg but Martinez calmly moves out of range.
Martinez uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dulin.
Martinez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dulin slips a jab from Martinez.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dulin lands a nice hook to Martinez's body. Martinez takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Martinez walks into a jab.
Martinez takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Martinez looks to land a body kick but Dulin moved away.

Dulin waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Martinez. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Martinez to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Martinez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dulin manages to get himself to full guard.
Dulin working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Martinez.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Martinez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dulin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Martinez throwing strikes from guard but Dulin blocks nicely.
Martinez stops Dulin from standing up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Martinez throws a big elbow that misses.
Martinez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dulin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Martinez throws a strike but Dulin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Martinez throws his legs up looking for a submission but Dulin uses it to pass to side control.
Martinez tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dulin tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Martinez tries to bench press Dulin off him but Dulin keeps the position.
Martinez is working hard here to advance position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Martinez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ivan Dulin dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Martinez scores with a hook.
Nice defenses there by Martinez.
Martinez walks into a straight right hand from Dulin.
Martinez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Martinez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dulin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Martinez working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Dulin pushes Martinez away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Martinez gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Martinez advances nicely into full mount.
Dulin avoids a series of strikes thrown by Martinez.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dulin is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Poor strikes thrown by Martinez there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Martinez pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Dulin holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Martinez tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Dulin wants to try and get back to his feet.
Martinez is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Martinez looking to control and managing it successfully.
Martinez wants to control the pace but Dulin is squirming around nicely.
Martinez throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Dulin because Martinez loaded up on that one.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Martinez! Dulin is hurt baaadly! Martinez is firing away with more strikes - Dulin is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jesus Martinez!
Jesus Martinez seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
