Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steinar Sting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patton kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Zatox and Tatanka - Kickin Ass. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sting tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Patton punishes Sting's body with a nice straight punch.
Sting misses with a left hand
letting Patton counter with a right hand.
Sting fails with an attempt to clinch.
Steinar Sting seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Patton avoids the body shot from Sting.
Patton moves out of range as Sting throws a body kick.
A solid body kick from Sting.
Patton thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sting if he has to take too many more of those.
Patton catches Sting with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Sting shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Patton sprawls well. Patton wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sting gets slowly back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Patton will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Patton takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Sting darts in trying to clinch
and Patton counters with a left and a right that stings Sting.

Sting looks for a takedown but Patton sprawls well.
Patton swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Patton bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Sting goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Patton bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sting's head backwards.
Sting throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Patton on the side of the head.
Patton circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sting swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sting on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

It looks like Steinar Sting has been cut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sting steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Patton.

Patton keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Sting forces Patton back against the cage and clinches.
Patton tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Patton prevents a body shot from Sting.

Patton tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Patton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sting ducks under a wild hook from Patton.
Sting shoots in for a double leg but Patton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Sting throws out a leg kick but Patton moves out of range and Sting only half commits.

A jab from Patton finds it's way through Sting's defenses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sting.

Sting throws a body punch but Patton moves out of range.
Patton blocks a head kick by Sting.
Sting shoots and misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Nice uppercut there from Sting.
Sting tries a low kick but Patton avoids it.
Patton lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Patton lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sting misses with a straight right.
Michael Patton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sting misses the body punch
and Patton counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Sting out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Patton is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.
