Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pentti Hirvonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darth Ottesen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pentti Hirvonen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Darth Ottesen!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hirvonen throws a body punch but Ottesen moves out of range.
Hirvonen thows a body shot but no joy.
Hirvonen misses with a two punch combination.
Ottesen takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hirvonen swings for the body but Ottesen moves out of range.
Hirvonen works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hirvonen takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ottesen rushes Hirvonen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hirvonen is trying to stall.
Hirvonen is stalling here.
Ottesen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hirvonen has him pressed against the cage.
Hirvonen goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ottesen prevents it.
Hirvonen works on Ottesen's body with a couple of short punches.
Hirvonen wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Ottesen is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hirvonen is keeping busy.
Ottesen landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Hirvonen's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Ottesen looking to throw knees to the head but Hirvonen is blocking nicely.
Ottesen comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Ottesen tries to land knees in the clinch but Hirvonen avoids the damage to the body.
Ottesen tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Hirvonen breaks the clinch.

Hirvonen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hirvonen showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hirvonen wants to pass to mount but Ottesen is defending the position.
Ottesen tries to roll over but Hirvonen keeps him under control.
Hirvonen uses his free foot to push down on Ottesen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ottesen.
Hirvonen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Ottesen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Ottesen avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hirvonen.
Hirvonen thowing shots but they're missing.

Ottesen wants to hold on but Hirvonen pushes him away.
Hirvonen is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Ottesen is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Ottesen flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Hirvonen anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Ottesen and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Hirvonen slips an arm under Ottesen chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Hirvonen has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Hirvonen is squeezing on Ottesen like an anaconda would it's prey. Ottesen fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Pentti Hirvonen!
