Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris McGrady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Nowak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jan Nowak is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris McGrady!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Nowak!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGrady waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nowak.
Nowak closes the distance and clinches up with McGrady, looking for a takedown. Nowak pushes McGrady against the cage but McGrady circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nowak moves out of range as McGrady strikes.
McGrady has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Nowak.
Nowak throws a head kick that misses.
McGrady changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nowak tries to avoid it but McGrady manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nowak to the ground. Nowak escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McGrady circles away from the clinch attempt
enabling McGrady to counter with a crisp jab.
Nowak shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McGrady as he jumps to the side.
Nowak closes the distance but McGrady moves to the side
and McGrady counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Nowak slips a straight right by McGrady.
McGrady connects with a nice looking jab.

McGrady rushes Nowak and presses him up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nowak is trying to break the clinch but McGrady has him pressed against the cage.
Nowak looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Nowak wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Nowak keeps control of McGrady as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Nowak breaks from the clinch.
McGrady lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nowak circles away quickly and effectively.
Nice straight punches there by McGrady. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of McGrady.
Nowak tries to clinch but McGrady moves out of range.

McGrady fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Nowak, pushing him back against the cage.
Nowak wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
McGrady tries to break free but Nowak pushes him back against the cage.
McGrady tries to circle away but Nowak has him pinned against the cage.
McGrady prevents a takedown attempt there.
Chris McGrady has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jan Nowak.
Nowak is trying to drag McGrady to the mat but McGrady just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Nowak fails to pull guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nowak working hard to break the clinch.
Nowak goes for a takedown attempt but McGrady pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
McGrady throws a shot to the body.
Nowak tries to clinch there but McGrady circles away.
McGrady misses with an uppercut
and Nowak counters with an inside leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McGrady throws a body punch but Nowak moves out of range.
McGrady lands a slapping body shot.
Nowak tries a head kick but it misses.
Nowak takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nowak on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
McGrady digs a good body shot into Nowak's ribs.
Nowak looks gassed!
Nowak tries to clinch up.

McGrady clinches.

Nowak tries to break free but McGrady pushes him back against the cage.
Nowak is trying to force a seperation but McGrady has the dominant position.
Nowak wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but McGrady has him pressed against the cage.
McGrady tries to break free but Nowak pushes him back against the cage.
Nowak wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Nowak throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Nowak has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Nowak breaks the clinch.
Nowak moves in looking to clinch but McGrady pushes him off.

McGrady drops Nowak with a beautiful combination! Nowak stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McGrady is looking for the KO!

It looks like Jan Nowak has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nowak moves in looking to clinch but McGrady pushes him off.
McGrady just misses with a punch to the body.
Nowak ducks right into an uppercut from McGrady.
McGrady cracks Nowak with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Nowak is rocked!
McGrady throws an uppercut from hell that sends Nowak clean off his feet! He's out cold! McGrady stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
