Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bongo's head.
Bongo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pereira swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bongo swinging wildly here.
Bongo fails to land with a series of punches.
Pereira lands a leg kick that knocks Bongo off balance momentarily.
Pereira connects with the punch.
Pereira lands a nice hook to Bongo's body. Bongo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Pereira throws a nice looking combination but Bongo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Pereira moves into the clinch successfully.
Bongo throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Bongo wants to stall.
Pereira lands a good knee to the midsection. Bongo won't want to take too many of those.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pereira lands with a left to the head.
Pereira landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Bongo is breathing heavily.

Pereira breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pereira circles away from the clinch attempt
and Pereira connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Bongo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Good shot there by Pereira.
A good leg kick by Pereira.
Pereira lands a big head kick that sends Bongo to the canvas! Pereira follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
