The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Brasil takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Ferreira tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Brasil shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ferreira is trying to defend but Brasil finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ferreira cracks Brasil with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ferreira has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Brasil to stand back up!

Ferreira feints and then cracks Brasil's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brasil down.
Ferreira connects with a leg kick. Brasil looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Ferreira has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Brasil drops his hands momentarily and Ferreira needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Brasil just on the top of the head. Brasil drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Brasil - he's done!
