Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Walter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elmer Ray!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Walter.
Walter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ray manages to avoid it.
Ray looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walter is fending him off so far but Ray persists. Nope, Walter circles away and we're back to standing.
Ray fails to land with a series of punches.
Ray takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Walter swings for the body but Ray moves out of range.
Walter throws a jab but it's blocked by Ray.
A nice inside leg kick there by Walter. That's going to slow Ray down.
Walter throws a nice head kick!
Walter is looking to chop away at Ray's legs.

Ray fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Walter, pushing him back against the cage.
Walter can't break the clinch.

Walter manages to break the clinch.
A head kick misses from Walter.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Walter throws a series of punches but Ray avoids them all with ease.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Walter keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Good shot there by Ray.
A looping hook to the body misses from Walter. Ray does a little dance to reset his feet.
Walter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ray shoots in for a takedown but Walter shows good takedown defense.
Peter Walter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Elmer Ray.

Ray pushes Walter up against the cage in a clinch.
Ray tries to score a body lock takedown but Walter shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Ray has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Walter after a bit of a struggle.

Walter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nice uppercut lands for Walter. That snapped Ray's head back.
Walter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ray takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Ray is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Walter throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ray is still on wobbly legs! Can Walter finish him?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Walter misses with a series of wild punches.
Walter darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Ray's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Walter before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
