The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards clobbers Cuk with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Decent striking displayed by Richards there.
Richards fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Richards or perhaps it was just good defense by Cuk which made him look bad.
Cuk chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Richards looks to throw the jab but Cuk is out of range.
Cuk showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Richards.
Rex Richards seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cuk ducks under a wild hook from Richards.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cuk. Richards does a little dance to reset his feet.

Richards throws a lazy right hand but Cuk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Richards accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Richards throws a strike but Cuk rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Cuk must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Richards wants to sweep here but Cuk controlling him for the moment.

Richards has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cuk can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cuk.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Richards.
Richards walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Cuk darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Richards rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cuk moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Whack! Cuk lands a heavy head kick that drops Richards. The ref tackles Cuk to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Richards was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Semin Cuk!
A very excited looking Semin Cuk rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
