Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Jones!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nguyen is looking to clinch.
Nguyen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Danga de danga de dang - Nguyen scores with a four punch combination!

It looks like Jon Jones has been cut.
Jones looks gassed!
Nguyen connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jones momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nguyen tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it.

Nguyen rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jones avoiding damage as Nguyen throws knees to the body.
Nguyen makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Nguyen.
Jones can't find room to land a body shot as Nguyen controls the action.
Jones on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Nguyen lands a body shot in the clinch.
Nguyen crunches a lovely knee into Jones's ribcage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Nguyen creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A nice left hand lands by Nguyen.
Nguyen digs a right hand into Jones's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Jones's gas tank.
Nguyen lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jones or not.

Nguyen drops Jones onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Jones is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Jones is rocked!
Clinched against the cage, Nguyen lands a big elbow that drops Jones! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Jones is complaining that he's OK but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Nguyen!
Michael Nguyen was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
