The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Van Herdsigin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Van Herdsigin looking to sit in guard and control but Khan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Van Herdsigin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Khan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Khan throws an elbow that misses. Van Herdsigin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Khan's guard. Nice move by Van Herdsigin!
