Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roy Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwight Elkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Palmer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Not Now James,we're busy. Elkins has chosen Care Bear Countdown as his entrance music. Dwight Elkins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roy Palmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dwight Elkins!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Chad Campbell and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer tries for a takedown but Elkins circles away easily
and Elkins counters with a head kick.
Roy Palmer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Elkins keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A slapping leg kick lands for Elkins.
Elkins fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Palmer misses with a takedown attempt - Elkins sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roy Palmer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Elkins lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Palmer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Elkins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Palmer crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Elkins - the referee stops the clock and Palmer gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Elkins. Palmer manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Palmer is breathing heavily.
Elkins will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Palmer shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Elkins counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Elkins won't allow Palmer to sweep him here.
Elkins trying to control but Palmer is working from the bottom.
Palmer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Elkins lands a couple of digs.
Elkins stands up and waves to Palmer to follow him.
Palmer shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Elkins counters with an outside leg kick.
Elkins lands a big head kick that sends Palmer tumbling to the mat! Elkins takes a step backwards and waves Palmer back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Palmer is rocked!
It looks like Roy Palmer has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Palmer checks the leg kick nicely there.
Oh Palmer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Elkins lands with a kick to the temple. Palmer shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Crack! A monster head kick from Elkins and Palmer falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Elkins!
