Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mickey MacNamara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Spatz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacNamara comes to the cage accompanied by Ain't no grave by Johnny Cash. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacNamara misses with a wild body shot.
Spatz misses with a few strikes there.
MacNamara throws out a powerful jab.
Spatz takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Spatz looks to clinch
and MacNamara counters with an inside leg kick.
Spatz takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
MacNamara misses with a looping left.
Spatz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
MacNamara throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A clash of legs there as Spatz blocks the low kick.

MacNamara dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
MacNamara moves forwards but Spatz connects with a nice, crisp jab.
MacNamara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Spatz manages to avoid it.
Spatz shoots in looking for a takedown but MacNamara manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Spatz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Spatz scores with a kick to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Spatz avoids the body shot from MacNamara.
Some bone on bone action there as MacNamara checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Spatz tries to close the distance and clinch but MacNamara swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
MacNamara throws a big shot that misses.
Spatz fails with an attempt to clinch.
MacNamara scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Spatz doesn't seem bothered though.
MacNamara is looking to wear down Spatz with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Spatz moves to clinch but MacNamara breaks away
and MacNamara counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

MacNamara closes the distance and clinches.
Spatz misses with a hook to the ribs.

Spatz throws a nice looking combination but MacNamara bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

MacNamara cracks a nice hook into Spatz's ribs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Spatz throws a leg kick but MacNamara moved away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Spatz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Spatz walks into a left hand.

MacNamara keeps the fight on the outside.
MacNamara throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Spatz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Spatz takes a shot right to the bread basket.
MacNamara tries to bum rush Spatz with a series of wild strikes but Spatz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Spatz scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. MacNamara doesn't seem bothered though.
Spatz takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
MacNamara scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

MacNamara dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Spatz. That did some damage!
MacNamara swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Spatz.

Spatz is rocked!
MacNamara lands with a shot to the body.
Spatz is still on wobbly legs! Can MacNamara finish him?
MacNamara lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

MacNamara lands a slapping body shot.
MacNamara cracks Spatz on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Spatz falls backwards against the cage. MacNamara follows up with more strikes that drop Spatz to his knees. MacNamara keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Spatz! This one is all over!
