The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels moves into range and connects with a jab.
Daniels smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
McGrew dives in and grabs Daniels's left leg, looking for a takedown. Daniels pushes down on McGrew's head and hops out.
Daniels fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McGrew.
Daniels throws out a loose jab but McGrew uses good head movement to avoid it.
Daniels connects with a single shot there.
Daniels throws a leg kick that misses.
McGrew swings for the body but Daniels moves out of range.
McGrew shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Daniels throws a right and a left that McGrew avoids nicely.

Daniels keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
McGrew avoids the head kick by Daniels.
McGrew shoots for a double leg takedown but Daniels sprawls well. He's pushed McGrew's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bobby Lee Daniels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan McGrew.

McGrew is trying desperately to land a takedown but Daniels is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for McGrew.
McGrew takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Daniels.
Daniels lands a jab.
McGrew takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Daniels missing with a left hand there. McGrew was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Daniels wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd cheers as Daniels lands an impressive looking overhand right. McGrew doesn't seem phased though.

Daniels throws a series of punches but McGrew moves out of range.
Daniels tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McGrew was well out of range. Poor timing from Daniels.
Daniels keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Daniels scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

McGrew is rocked!
Daniels is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Daniels slips a straight right by McGrew.
Daniels swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McGrew fails to land the takedown.
A looping hook to the body misses from Daniels. McGrew does a little dance to reset his feet.
McGrew comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
McGrew uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Daniels.

McGrew closes the distance and pushes Daniels back into the cage.
Daniels lands a body shot.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Daniels.
Daniels lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

A short body shot lands from Daniels as the two fighters clinch.
McGrew tries for a takedown but Daniels manages to get underhooks.
McGrew looks gassed!
McGrew avoids a wild elbow strike from Daniels.
Daniels lands a right hand that snaps the head of McGrew backwards.
McGrew has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Daniels is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
McGrew jumps guard but Daniels turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Still in the clinch, Daniels scores with a nice short uppercut.
Daniels pushes McGrew back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Daniels lands an uppercut.
McGrew is still on wobbly legs! Can Daniels finish him?

Bobby Lee Daniels decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
