Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rayce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Driver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jim Driver is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Driver!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Driver rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gracie counters with a two punch combo.
Driver throws a right hand that misses

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Driver wants to sweep but no luck.
Gracie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gracie sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Driver tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Gracie drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Gracie seems to have locked his on tight now - Driver screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Gracie, as he picks up the win!
