Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dave Stackhouse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mickey O Neil!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Neil misses with a lunging right hand
and Stackhouse counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps O Neil thinking.
O Neil avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Stackhouse gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
O Neil looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
O Neil uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stackhouse.
Stackhouse looks to score with a jab to the body but O Neil is just out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Dave Stackhouse will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


O Neil scores with a body shot.
