The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonaparte cracks the inside of Guy's front leg.
Guy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bonaparte throws a hook but Guy avoids it easily.
Bonaparte scores with a nice body kick.
Bonaparte slips a jab from Guy.
Bonaparte scores with a decent looking hook.
A looping hook to the body misses from Guy. Bonaparte does a little dance to reset his feet.
Guy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Guy takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Bonaparte goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Bonaparte looks to land a body kick but Guy moved away.
Guy scores with a nice right hand.
Bonaparte closes the distance and clinches up with Guy, looking for a takedown. Bonaparte pushes Guy against the cage but Guy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bonaparte uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Guy.
Guy ducks under a wild hook from Bonaparte.
Guy misses with an uppercut. Bonaparte saw that one coming.

Guy tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Guy throws a hook but Bonaparte avoids it easily.
Bonaparte shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Guy as he avoids it easily.
Good leg kick by Bonaparte there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Guy drops Bonaparte with a beautiful combination! Bonaparte stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Guy is looking for the KO!

It looks like Napoleon Bonaparte has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bonaparte misses the shot to the body.
Oh Bonaparte is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A slapping leg kick lands for Bonaparte.
Bonaparte seems to have got his legs back now.

Bonaparte looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Guy!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Guy can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bonaparte working for a submission but Guy is keeping him at bay.
Guy is looking to improve his position but Bonaparte isn't that keen on the idea.

Bonaparte fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Guy wants to control but Bonaparte is having none of it.
Guy is squirming around, avoiding Bonaparte's attempts to control the action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bonaparte lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Guy hang on?
Guy avoids a series of strikes thrown by Bonaparte.
Guy tries to hold on but Bonaparte pushes him away.
Bonaparte throwing strikes here but Guy is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Bonaparte looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Bonaparte is landing with some decent strikes but Guy is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bonaparte looking to secure an arm triangle but Guy defends it well.
Bonaparte tries to control but Guy wriggling away.

Bonaparte is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Guy has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Guy!
Guy content to stall in guard here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Bonaparte is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Bonaparte is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bonaparte wants to sweep but no luck.
Guy wants to control from the top but Bonaparte keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Buddy Guy.
Guy lands with a nice body punch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bonaparte tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bonaparte cracks a nice hook into Guy's ribs.
Napoleon Bonaparte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bonaparte throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Napoleon Bonaparte will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Guy takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bonaparte ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guy moves away.
Guy has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bonaparte.
Guy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Guy wants it to stay on the feet.
Guy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bonaparte sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bonaparte lands a front kick.
Bonaparte throws a head kick that half lands.
Guy's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bonaparte under the eye.
A nice leg kick lands there from Bonaparte.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Guy lands a nice shot to the body.
Left hook, right uppercut from Guy.
Buddy Guy seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bonaparte misses with a straight right.
Bonaparte throws a leg kick which misses Guy's front leg but catches the back leg as Guy tries to avoid it.

Guy moves out of range of the body kick from Bonaparte.
Guy keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bonaparte fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Guy.
Guy circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Bonaparte tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Guy wins by KO!
