Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Kauffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Ivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kauffman might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lil Wayne- Up up and away. Ivey is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Friday. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chad Kauffman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Phil Ivey!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kauffman.
Kauffman throws a poor cross that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Kauffman steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ivey. That one must have hurt.

Kauffman has his foot on Ivey's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ivey works his way back into a safe position though.

Ivey has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kauffman is working away from the top position though.

Ivey is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kauffman's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kauffman's back!

Kauffman feints and as Ivey raises his hands in defense, Kauffman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ivey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kauffman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
