Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jai Setright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Ring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Setright's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dante's Inferno. Jai Setright is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jai Setright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jeremy Ring!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Setright closes the distance and pushes Ring back into the cage.
Setright softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Ring is trying to pull guard but Setright turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Setright lands with a light punch inside.
Ring throws an elbow that misses.
Ring fails to pull guard.
Setright lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ring backwards.
Ring is trying to pull guard but Setright has him pressed against the cage.
Jai Setright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeremy Ring.
Setright pushes Ring back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Ring can't get the takedown.
Setright tries to break the clinch but Ring is controlling the position.
Ring is trying to pull guard but Setright turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Ring manages to break the clinch.
Setright lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Setright rushes Ring and presses him up against the cage.
Ring is looking for a takedown.
Ring tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Setright smiles and moves away.
Ring shoots in looking for a takedown but Setright manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ring's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ring looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jeremy Ring seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Setright throws a nice looking combination but Ring bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ring shoots in and drives through. Setright sprawls well.
Nice shot lands for Setright.
Ring looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Setright is fending him off so far but Ring persists. Nope, Setright circles away and we're back to standing.
Ring looks gassed!
Setright connects with a leg kick. Ring looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Ring looks for a takedown but Setright sprawls well.
Setright lands with a cross.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Setright fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ring looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Setright drops Ring with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ring looks back up at him and smiles so Setright waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Setright misses with a double jab.
Setright goes for a small jab and connects. Now Setright goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Ring stumbles back but Setright runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Ring to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Ring will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jai Setright!
