Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Teagan Presley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Travolta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Travolta has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Travolta misses with a takedown attempt - Presley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Presley shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Travolta's guard.

Presley drops back looking for a leg! Travolta is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Travolta manages to kick Presley off! Presley jumps back into Travolta's guard.

Travolta seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Presley tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Presley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Presley seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Travolta content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Presley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Travolta on the ground.
Travolta scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Travolta has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Travolta is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Presley has managed to free his arm - good work.

Presley on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Presley tries to get out of the position.

Travolta is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Presley is just riding it out for now. Travolta eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Travolta is looking to stall here but Presley recovers full guard.

Presley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Travolta gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Travolta shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Travolta showed some decent athleticism there.

Travolta postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Presley in real trouble here! The ref calls for Presley to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
