The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matice connects with a looping right hand.
A telegraphed right hand from Matice misses the target.
Matice closes the distance and clinches up with Nevin, looking for a takedown. Matice pushes Nevin against the cage but Nevin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Matice misses with a hook.
Matice fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nevin manages to avoid it.
Matice takes one on the button.
Matice keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nevin looks to score with a jab to the body but Matice is just out of range.
Matice lands a nice hook to Nevin's body. Nevin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
