The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuckwell throws a combination that misses

and Duggan counters by clinching up.
Fuckwell looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Fuckwell is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Duggan lands a shoulder strike.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Fuckwell.
Fuckwell swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Fuckwell trying to control the position but instead, Duggan has worked for underhooks and has pushed Fuckwell into the cage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Duggan shoots in for a takedown but Fuckwell shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Duggan swings wildly with an uppercut but Fuckwell uses good head movement to avoid it.

Fuckwell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A slapping leg kick lands for Fuckwell.
Fuckwell throws a wild body kick that Duggan sees coming a mile off.
Duggan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fuckwell tries to avoid it but Duggan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fuckwell to the ground. Fuckwell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fuckwell throws a looping overhand right but Duggan ducks down to avoid it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Duggan moves into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Eyeonly Fuckwell will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Duggan throws out a leg kick but Fuckwell moves out of range and Duggan only half commits.
Fuckwell connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Fuckwell stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Fuckwell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Duggan circles away quickly and effectively.

A nice inside leg kick there by Fuckwell. That's going to slow Duggan down.

Fuckwell throws a right and a left that Duggan avoids nicely.
Duggan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Fuckwell walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Duggan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Duggan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Eyeonly Fuckwell is winning the standup battle so far.
No joy there for Fuckwell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
