Suerto comes to the cage accompanied by 50 Cent-Ready For War (Remix). Mont Alvernne is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Led Zeppelin - Immigrant Song. Janhino Suerto looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Mont Alvernne misses.
Suerto with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mont Alvernne to score with a decent uppercut.
Suerto drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Mont Alvernne looks to land a right hand but Suerto moved out of range.

Mont Alvernne throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Suerto tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mont Alvernne is in Suerto's guard.

Suerto working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mont Alvernne doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mont Alvernne manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mont Alvernne got a little sloppy there for a moment and Suerto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mont Alvernne has managed to get both his arms back between Suerto's legs - danger averted.

Suerto stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Suerto wants it to stay on the feet.
