Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taj al Din (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Ames (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). al Din kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is MARI-WANA. Ames comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ludacris - Get Back kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ames looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
al Din misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ames lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Ames throws a head kick but al Din moves out of range.
Ames jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ames fakes high and swings low for a body shot but al Din manages to avoid it.
al Din connects with a body shot that sends Ames's belly button to the back.
al Din ducks under a wild hook from Ames.
Ames thows a left - swing and a miss!
al Din tries to clinch there but Ames circles away.
Ames swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by al Din.
A bone on bone clash there as Ames blocks the leg kick.
al Din keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Ames tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and al Din is able to avoid easily.

Ames fakes a jab and throws a low kick but al Din checks it well.
al Din pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Ames thows a body kick. al Din tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Ames is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by al Din.
Ames throws a hook but al Din blocks it.
al Din avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Ames fails to land with a series of punches.
al Din bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ames misses with a hook. al Din ducked under it nicely.
al Din tries a head kick but it misses.
al Din connects with a nice looking jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

al Din on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ames. Ames obviously looking to wear him down.

al Din throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
al Din throws a body punch but Ames moves out of range.
al Din is looking to wear down Ames with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Ames takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
al Din connects with a leg kick. Ames looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Taj al Din dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
al Din cracks Ames with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Ames on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Ames pivots, looking for a leg kick but al Din is out of range and Ames settles back down.
Ames throws the kick towards the body but al Din avoids it.
al Din gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
al Din feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ames's calf.
Ames throws out a loose jab but al Din uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by al Din!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
al Din misses the shot to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from al Din misses the target.

Ames thows a leg kick but al Din checks it
and al Din counters with a right hand to the body.
al Din drops Ames with a beautiful combination! Ames stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - al Din is looking for the KO!
Ames is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
