Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dustin Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin has chosen Smells like Teen Spirit as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Antonio Hong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dustin Martin!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hong throws a nice outside leg kick.
Hong misses with a wild body shot.
Hong misses with a body kick.
Martin thows a left - swing and a miss!
Martin tries to clinch up.
Martin avoids the body shot from Hong.
Martin goes for a high kick. It partially lands.


It looks like Antonio Hong has been cut.
Martin throws a leg kick but Hong sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Dustin Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Martin will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Martin takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hong lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Martin tries to work over Hong's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Martin lands a nice shot to the body.
Martin pushes Hong back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Martin misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hong.
Hong lands an uppercut.
Martin stalling in the clinch but Hong improves position.
Hong pushes Martin back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Martin throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Martin misses with a knee to the head.
Martin misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hong.

Hong tries to throw a body punch but Martin avoids it by throwing Hong back against the cage.

Hong is pushing Martin up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Martin is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Hong is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
With the fighters up against the cage, Martin throws an elbow but misses.

A nice left hand lands by Hong.
Hong blocks an uppercut.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Hong as Martin tries to tie him up.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Martin stalling in the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hong.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
The referee is keeping an eye on Hong - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Hong lands a left hand.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Martin drops Hong with a big knee straight up the middle! Hong is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!


Hong is rocked!


Antonio Hong's cut is getting worse.
Hong is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Martin Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Hong is out cold, face down on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dustin Martin!
A very excited looking Dustin Martin made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
