Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wes Chapman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin comes to the cage accompanied by Killing In The Name. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Wes Chapman enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Forrest Griffin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wes Chapman!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chapman shoots in looking for a takedown. Griffin tries to sprawl out of it but Chapman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Griffin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Forrest Griffin.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Griffin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
