Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sami Sykloni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dew Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sykloni's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, David Arkenstone - Carrickfergus. Dew Rain acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rain looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Sykloni wants to get back to full guard.
Rain thows a huge punch but Sykloni dodges it nicely.
Rain has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Rain takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Rain shoots in looking for a takedown but Sykloni manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rain's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Horrible takedown by Rain or perhaps it was just good defense by Sykloni which made him look bad.

Sykloni breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Rain shoots for a takedown but Sykloni saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rain takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Sykloni fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rain has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
