Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lincoln Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Sugarol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hayes kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Black Wings of Apocalypse. Lincoln Hayes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayes misses with a body shot.
Hayes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sugarol circles away.

Hayes walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sugarol checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Sugarol makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Sugarol throws a lazy right hand but Hayes sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Hayes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sugarol as he avoids it easily.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Lincoln Hayes will probably get the nod.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sugarol ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Hayes throws a hook to the side of Sugarol's head but Sugarol sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sammy Sugarol showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hayes shoots in for a takedown but Sugarol shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A nice inside leg kick there by Hayes. That's going to slow Sugarol down.

Sugarol might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
