The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparre fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rautuvaara manages to avoid it.
A lazy left from Rautuvaara finds it's target.
Sparre punishes Rautuvaara's body with a nice straight punch.
Sparre misses with a hook. Rautuvaara ducked under it nicely.
A solid leg kick lands there for Sparre.
Rautuvaara connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Sparre's hands.
Rautuvaara will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sparre misses with an uppercut. Rautuvaara saw that one coming.
Rautuvaara lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sparre circles away quickly and effectively.

Sparre drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Rautuvaara onto his butt! Rautuvaara pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.

Sparre cracks Rautuvaara with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Rautuvaara is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Rautuvaara is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
