Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Melekh David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorn Anthriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anthriel lands a nice looking body shot.
David tries to clinch there but Anthriel circles away.
David takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Melekh David has been cut.
David uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Anthriel misses with an uppercut.
David shoots in looking for a takedown but Anthriel manages to keep the fight standing, pushing David's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Anthriel darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

David is rocked!
David has a takedown stuffed.
Oh David is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
David tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Anthriel paws at him with a jab and circles away.
David displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Anthriel throws out the jab.
David seems to have got his legs back now.
David has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Melekh David. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Anthriel stuffs the takedown attempt from David. David gets slowly back to his feet.
Anthriel cracks David with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

David shoots in but no luck this time.
David tries to close the distance and clinch up but Anthriel swats him away and circles back towards the center.

David instigates a clinch.
David is trying to drag Anthriel to the mat but Anthriel just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jorn Anthriel hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
David fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
David misses with an uppercut.
David staying out of range there.
David lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Anthriel at a distance.
David closes the distance and clinches up with Anthriel, looking for a takedown. David pushes Anthriel against the ropes but Anthriel circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Anthriel looks to land a right hand but David moved out of range.
Anthriel throws the left hand but David avoids the punch easily.
David cracks Anthriel with an open hand slap.
Melekh David seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
David tries to bum rush Anthriel with a series of wild strikes but Anthriel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jorn Anthriel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
David fails to land with a series of punches.

David is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
David falls off balance throwing a combination
and Anthriel counters with a lovely straight right hand!
David shoots in but Anthriel avoids the takedown attempt easily.
David throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Anthriel's waist but Anthriel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing David off to one side.
David scores with a one two! Anthriel had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

and David counters by moving into the clinch.
David blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Anthriel prevents the takedown attempt.
David is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Anthriel throws a head punch that misses.
Anthriel lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of David backwards.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Anthriel.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
David misses with a punch to the body.
David is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Anthriel scores with a shoulder strike.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Anthriel.

David escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Anthriel cracks David with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends David tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Anthriel pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! David is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
