Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wei Pei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Macarenco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Wei Pei has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Wei Pei seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pei throws a jab when Macarenco was well out of range.
Pei lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Ricardo Macarenco has been cut.
Macarenco closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Pei throws a body punch but Macarenco moves out of range.
Pei sizes up Macarenco with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pei getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
No luck for Macarenco with that takedown attempt.
Pei cracks Macarenco with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Pei has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Macarenco to stand back up!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pei is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Macarenco flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Macarenco is out cold! Pei holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wei Pei!
