The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Driggs connects with a high kick.
Stringer avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Driggs pivots, looking for a leg kick but Stringer is out of range and Driggs settles back down.
Driggs feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stringer's calf.
Driggs blocks a low kick nicely.
Driggs tries to clinch but Stringer is having none of it.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Driggs has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Driggs and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round but I would say that Julio Driggs will probably get the nod.

Stringer throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Driggs on the side of the head.
