The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuusela misses with a body kick.
Utley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kuusela takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kuusela displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Utley throws out the jab.
Kuusela swings for the body but Utley moves out of range.
Kuusela lands a nice looking body kick.
Kuusela ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Utley has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kuusela.
Kuusela takes a swing at Utley's ribcage but misses.
Kuusela looks to score with a jab to the body but Utley is just out of range.
A left lands for Kuusela.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Utley scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kuusela doesn't seem bothered though.

Utley lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Utley missing with a left hand there. Kuusela was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kuusela throws a hook to the side of Utley's head but Utley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Utley connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kuusela momentarily.

Kuusela throws a body kick that misses.
Kuusela tries to clinch there but Utley circles away.
Utley ducks under a wild hook from Kuusela.
Utley misses the jab.

Utley connects with a body shot that sends Kuusela's belly button to the back.
Danga de danga de dang - Utley scores with a four punch combination!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Utley stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kuusela connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Utley connects with a body shot.
Kuusela takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kuusela throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kuusela lands a nice looking kick to the body. Utley takes a step back to recover.
Utley avoids the body shot from Kuusela.
Utley on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Utley crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kuusela - the referee stops the clock and Utley gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kuusela. Utley manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Kuusela lands a nice hook to Utley's body. Utley takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Utley is breathing heavily.
Utley throws a chopping leg kick but Kuusela manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kuusela lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kuusela throws a solid leg kick but Utley takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kuusela.
Kuusela is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Utley rather than just go for the knockout.
Kuusela cracks Utley with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Kuusela closes the distance and clinches.
Good body shot from Kuusela.
Kuusela pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Utley fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kuusela checks it well.
A punch combination from Utley misses.
Kuusela connects with a leg kick. Utley looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

and Kuusela cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Donk. Kuusela catches Utley right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Chase Utley has been cut.
Utley rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kuusela counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kuusela scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Utley to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Kuusela away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Utley got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
Utley is rocked!
Kuusela closes the distance and lands a lead uppercut that stumbles Utley back against the ropes! Kuusela follows up with a jab and a huge straight right that knocks Utley out cold! What a finish! Kuusela looks absolutely delighted, as he should do! Congratulations that man!
